Gajera Global School
Academic Virtual Discourse Between Trustee & Parents
Updated: May 22, 2021

Trustee Ms. Kinjal Chunibhai Gajera and parents of GGS sat down together on a virtual meeting on 17 May 2021 to discuss the school's pedagogy and future plans in view of the current pandemic. Along with parents, learners also were present in the virtual meeting. They said that they could not wait to come back to school. Parents too expressed their satisfaction with the school’s efforts to keep teaching-learning unaffected by the lockdown and online teaching.
They said they were happy because education never came to a stop while many schools all over the world have suffered. It has been observed that most schools in the world had trouble conducting live online classes due to a lack of technical knowhow and lack of internet access. In such a backdrop, GGS has done a great job, never letting its learners feel that schools are closed. A fixed schedule is followed here with classes starting at 8:30 in the morning until 12:45. Every morning starts with the assembly with learners praying and doing presentations. Then teaching starts at 8:45. Not only classes, but assessments, activities, celebrations & competitions also are held on time, online.
In the meeting, parents expressed their gratitude for what we did last year. Their words of appreciation have always motivated us. Yesterday too, their kind words gave us the impetus to do better this year. Also, looking at the enthusiasm for learning, we could not have been happier. Of course, with things as they are now, we may not be able to start classes offline, but our daily association online will go on as usual.
