Gajera Global School
"Guru" means "dispeller of darkness."

Educators need not be respected only a day as we are indebted to them life long. But today is the day when we can display our emotions and convey our love and gratitude to them. On this auspicious day Gajera Gobal School, Pal celebrated wisdom and gratitude of Educators by arranging special assembly. Guru Purnima is a significant and revered festival celebrated in India and several other countries. It is dedicated to express gratitude and reverence towards spiritual and academic gurus or educators who guide and inspire us on our path of learning and self-discovery. The festival falls on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month Ashadha, which usually falls in July. Educators at GGS were welcomed with showering petals and tilak ceremony by the learners to show their gratitude. Learners expressed their emotions through their speeches, dance and thoughts. This reflects on the importance of the guru-shishya relationship and acknowledged the invaluable contributions made by gurus. Guru Purnima is a reminder of the eternal value of learning and knowledge. It is a beautiful occasion to celebrate the wisdom and knowledge that has been passed down through generations, acknowledging and honouring the guiding lights in our lives who have helped us become who we are.
At GGS such traditional values are imbibed in learners for their holistic development. Such occasions help to built a strong relationship between a learner and an educator.
