Investiture ceremony
At GGS, the investiture ceremony is a truly inspiring event. An investiture ceremony is a formal occasion where learners are given leadership positions and responsibilities within the school community. It is a momentous occasion that celebrates the achievements of these learners and signifies the trust and confidence placed in them by the school.
The ceremony began with a welcome note and Lamp Lightning Ceremony. It followed by the introduction and felicitation of Guests Mr. D J Chudasama (PI Athwa Branch) and Mr. Haren Gandhi (Ex Air force Officer & Kargil Vetran) by honourable trustee Shree Chunibhai Gajera. The motivational and inspiring speech was addressed by the principal Mrs. Shweta Parihar, who emphasized the importance of leadership and the role that the leaders play in shaping the school's culture.
The leaders were then presented with their badges, which they wore with great pride. These badges were a symbol of the trust and confidence placed in them by their peers and teachers. The outgoing student leaders then passed on the mantle of leadership to the new leaders, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility.
The new leaders then took an oath, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to serve and outlining their vision for the school. They pledged their plans to improve the school in various areas such as academics, sports, and cultural activities.
The Guest of Honour an ex-Air force officer and Kargil Vetran motivated everyone with his life experiences and advised the learners to be self-motivated to achieve their goals.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the vice principal Mrs Aswathi Menon, who emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success. The ceremony was a reminder that leadership is not just about holding a position, but about serving the school community with dedication and commitment.
