Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity: Our Aspirations

Every year on November 26th, Samvidan Diwas (Constitution Day) is observed to honour the day our Constitution was adopted. Samvidan Diwas will be observed as part of the 'Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav' this year.
On November 26th, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Hon'ble President of India led the celebrations of Constitution Day live from the Central Hall of Parliament. The reading was attended by Hon'ble Vice-President, Hon'ble Prime Minister, Hon'ble Speaker, Ministers, MPs, and other dignitaries. The show was broadcast live on Sansad TV, DD, and other TV channels, as well as online portals.
Learners of GGS took part in the reading of the Constitution online. Though the learners have been studying political science, today's session provided them with the unique experience of reading the Preamble en masse. They came to know of the lofty goals the Constitution has set down for the state to ensure for its citizens. This kind of exercise sensitises school children to politics and matters that influence every sphere of the citizen's life. Most importantly, what as citizens they can expect from the state and also what they should aspire.
