Power of Positive Thinking

Power of Positive Thinking
The word positive is meant to signify a manner of thinking: a manner that puts emphasis on processing thoughts in a more desirable, upbeat way. Positive thinking can be described as the practice of embracing the affirmative in our thoughts, our feelings, our actions, our reactions and our speech.
There are mental and physical benefits of practicing positive thinking. Like longer life span, better physical health, and better stress management, less depression, more creativity and better problem-solving strategy. In this pandemic situation, positive thinking is playing an important role to fight against diseases. The first thing which needs to be done for practicing positive thinking is to get rid to negative thinking. Once it is done it’s time up to play with positive.
There are different ways of practicing positive thinking. Slowly and with few baby steps the framework of the mind can be changed and one can bring positive changes in their behavior and life. Some steps to achieve positivity are:
1) Reframe your situation. When something bad happens that’s out of your control, instead of getting upset, try to appreciate the good parts of the situation. For example, instead of stressing about a traffic jam, recall how convenient it is to have a car.
2) Picture your best possible future. Think in detail about a bright vision for the future, career, health, hobbies and write it down to focus on the goal.
3) Look to those whom you admire. Role models and their journey inspire many people to stay positive in life.
4) Always be with positive people. The positive vibes of the surrounding people and surrounding atmosphere help people to stay focus and positive in life.
5) Focus on your strength. The best way to stay positive is to focus on your strength and try to improve the weakness.
6) Practice yoga and meditation to keep your mind and body calm and relax. Try to smile more and handle each and every situation with calmness, avoid getting hyper in any situation.
