Gajera Global School
Vaccination Drive - 1st Shot @GGS
As part of the Government of India's push to vaccinate teenagers between the ages of 12 and 14, all students at Gajera Global School received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. All students in grades 6th through 8th received the vaccine for free, protecting them from the deadly illness.
We were able to immunize practically all eligible learners in the age group thanks to the assistance of both parents and children. With this first dose, it is hoped that all students will be able to attend regular school classes without any fear or anxiety. SMC officials arrived at the school around 10 a.m. today, after which students took the shot in batches. They were kept under observation for half an hour to detect any undesirable effects. Because none of the students displayed any signs of difficulty or discomfort, they were able to return to class. Following today's successful drive, we hope that both children and parents will be confident in their ability to combat the reappearance of the new virus.
