Visit to Laxmi Diamond

GGS learners from grade 8, 9 & 11 had an opportunity to visit Laxmi Diamond.
Visiting a diamond factory offered learners a unique opportunity to learn about the entire diamond production process. They observed first-hand how diamonds are mined, cut, polished, and transformed into beautiful jewellery. This experience provided valuable insights into the geological, technical, and artistic aspects of the diamond industry.
They interacted with professionals working in various roles and gain a better understanding of potential career paths. Cultural and Historical Context: Diamonds have a rich history and cultural significance. By visiting a diamond factory, learners trued to explore the historical context of diamonds, including their origins, significance in different cultures, and their role in trade and commerce throughout the centuries. They Witnessed the intricate and meticulous craftsmanship involved in diamond cutting and jewellery making and cultivated an appreciation for the skill and artistry behind these processes. They even witnessed the dedication, precision, and attention to detail required to transform rough diamonds into exquisite pieces of jewellery.
This experience enabled learners to contribute to their understanding of ethical consumerism and the importance of sustainable industries. It was a fun involved experiential learning for our learners. Such opportunities help the learners to excel in real experiences .
